Film Institutes can only polish
the innate talents of those who wish to make a film, opined Sandeep Rampal,
director of ‘Cotton Dreams’. He was speaking at a press meet organized under
IDSFFK. Individual concerns are being
socialized through documentaries and it will create a platform for representing
such issues in society, said by Rishika Namdev, director of ‘Unveiled’. While
answering about funding and financing of documentaries, the cinematographer Sidharth
Nuni, of ‘On a Quest’, mentioned about new strategies opted by the directors
for funding such as; crowd funding and social media funding

Siddharth Gigoo (Good Bye – May Fly), Subramaniam M (Ode to a Better World),
Mili Eugine (Kali Karyamaayi),Subhangi Singh (Anywhere but Here) were present
on the press meet.
